California High School Soccer - Esperanza nudges Murrieta Valley
December 11, 2024: Murrieta, CA 92562 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) and the host Murrieta Valley Nighthawks (Murrieta, CA), saw Esperanza's soccer squad hold off Murrieta Valley by a count of 2-1.
The Aztecs (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Paramount (Paramount, CA). The Pirates enter the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Paramount tipped Kennedy (La Palma, CA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Nighthawks battle the Temescal Canyon Titans (Lake Elsinore, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, December 13. Murrieta Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Titans enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Santiago (Corona, CA).
