South Carolina High School Basketball - Catawba Ridge crushes Forestview

Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC), 78-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Catawba Ridge upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Copperheads travel to Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Nation Ford lost 79-71 in their recent non-league bout against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC)

Next up, the Jaguars play the North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) in a 3A Conference 50 bout, on Friday, December 16. Forestview will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 63-59 league loss to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC).
