The A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), 55-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Rockets (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Hardin Valley Academy (Knoxville, TN). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Hardin Valley Academy got by Karns (Knoxville, TN), 57-41, in a non-league test.

The Patriots now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory for a non-league test on Friday, December 15. Freedom will encounter a Red Tornadoes squad coming off a 52-33 non-league loss to South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 3-3.
