The McMullen County Cowboys basketball team (Tilden, TX), was toppled 31-22 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Falls City Beavers (Falls City, TX)

The Beavers now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charlotte for a 2A Region IV District 30 battle on Friday, December 15. Falls City will confront a Trojans team coming off a 59-11 non-league win over Dilley (Dilley, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 7-13.

The Cowboys (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against George West (George West, TX). The Longhorns come into the non-league battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, George West was toppled by San Diego (San Diego, TX), 52-34, in a non-league battle.
