The Rio Linda Knights basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Valley Vikings to 10 in the Knights non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Nicolaus for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14. Rio Linda will battle a Spartans team coming off a 39-20 non-league win over Portola (Portola, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-3.

The Vikings (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Amador (Sutter Creek, CA). The Buffaloes come into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Amador was routed by Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA), 57-27, in a non-league contest.
