South Carolina High School Basketball - Liberty holds off Carolina Academy
December 12, 2023: Greenville, SC 29611 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Red Devils (Liberty, SC) and the host Carolina Academy Trojans (Greenville, SC), saw Liberty's basketball squad hold off Carolina Academy by a tally of 39-38.
With the victory, Liberty improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Pickens (Pickens, SC) to confront the Blue Flame in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Blue Flame come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Pickens lost 50-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Walhalla (Walhalla, SC)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Berea Bulldogs (Greenville, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Carolina Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 40-35 non-league loss to Southside (Greenville, SC).
