South Carolina High School Basketball - Union County bests Blacksburg

December 12, 2024: Blacksburg, SC 29702

The Union County Yellowjackets basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Blacksburg Wildcats to 46 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Chester for a non-league game on Monday, December 16. Union County will confront a Cyclones team coming off a 57-40 non-league win over Buford (Lancaster, SC). The Cyclones record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Blacksburg falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Greenville Tech Charter (Greenville, SC) to confront the Warriors in a AA Region 1 game on Friday, December 13. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 2-3. Greenville Tech Charter lost 43-38 in their recent non-league game against Greer Middle College (Taylors, SC)
