Virginia High School Basketball - Briar Woods overwhelms Loudoun County

The Briar Woods Falcons basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host Loudoun County Captains to 42 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Falcons now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Tuscarora for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Briar Woods will confront a Huskies team coming off a 54-47 non-league loss to Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA). The Huskies record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Loudoun County falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Captains travel to Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 18. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 3-2. Stone Bridge lost 70-43 in their recent non-league game against Broad Run (Ashburn, VA)
