Maryland High School Basketball - Potomac nips Central

In Thursday's league contest, the host Potomac Wolverines basketball team scored a close 64-59 triumph over the Central Falcons.

The Wolverines (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Potomac Senior (Dumfries, VA). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Potomac Senior was tipped by Centreville (Clifton, VA), 67-64, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Central will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 68-46 non-league win over Digital Pioneers Academy (Washington, DC).
