In Thursday's non-league test, the Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ) basketball squad trounced the visiting Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ), by a score of 64-40.

Next, the Eagles clash with the North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 17. Ironwood will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Rattlers come into the test with a 2-7 record after their 64-53 league loss to Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ).

The Firebirds (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ). The Pride come into the 5A East Sky test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Mountain Pointe bounced Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ), 72-65, in a league test.
