The St. Francis Spartans basketball squad (Wheaton, IL), was nudged 39-38 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting IC Catholic Prep Knights (Elmhurst, IL)

With the victory, IC Catholic Prep advances its record to 5-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL) to meet the Trojans in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 14. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 5-3. Timothy Christian lost 45-38 in their recent league test against Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL)

The Spartans (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Marist (Chicago, IL). The RedHawks come into the non-league test with a 7-2 record.
