Pamlico County Hurricanes (Bayboro, NC) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Washington County Panthers (Plymouth, NC), 55-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Pamlico County advances its record to 7-1 on the year. The Hurricanes travel to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC) to meet the Pirates in a non-league match on Friday, December 20. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 5-3.

The Panthers now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pasquotank County for a non-league match on Friday, December 13. Washington County will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 46-40 non-league loss to Washington County (Plymouth, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
