The River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) basketball edged the visiting Wesley Chapel Wildcats (Wesley Chapel, FL), 51-47 in Thursday's league bout.

The Royal Knights now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Parrish Community for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14. River Ridge will play a Bulls team coming off a 63-31 league win over Palmetto (Palmetto, FL). The Bulls record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Wesley Chapel falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Winthrop College Prep Academy (Riverview, FL) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 3-7.
