In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Weeki Wachee Hornets basketball team scored a close 29-22 triumph over the Nature Coast Tech Sharks.

The Hornets (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hernando (Brooksville, FL). The Leopards go into the contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Hernando nipped Lecanto (Lecanto, FL), 48-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Sharks battle the Hudson Cobras (Hudson, FL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. Nature Coast Tech will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record.
