December 13, 2022: Decatur, IL 62522 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) and the visiting Decatur Eisenhower Panthers (Decatur, IL), saw MacArthur's basketball squad wallop Decatur Eisenhower by a tally of 80-47.
With the victory, MacArthur improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Springfield (Springfield, IL) to confront the Senators in a Central State Eight challenge on Friday, December 16. The Senators come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Springfield lost 54-52 in their recent league challenge against Normal University (Normal, IL)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones (Springfield, IL) in a Central State Eight challenge, on Friday, December 16. Decatur Eisenhower will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 58-26 league win over Rochester (Rochester, IL).
