In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Discovery Spartans (Lake Alfred, FL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Auburndale Bloodhounds (Auburndale, FL), by a margin of 77-53.

The Spartans (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Frostproof (Frostproof, FL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Frostproof was trounced by Lake Placid (Lake Placid, FL), 45-24, in a non-league outing.
