Texas High School Basketball - Nimitz topped by Pearce
December 13, 2022: Richardson, TX 75080 The Pearce Mustangs basketball team scored 33 points and restricted the visiting Nimitz Vikings to 22 in the Mustangs league victory on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Flower Mound for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 14. Pearce will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 56-40 league win over Plano East (Plano, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 17-2.
The Vikings (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Prestonwood Christian dropped by Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX), 61-56, in a league contest.
