The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Valley Patriots (Turkey, TX) and the host Crane Cranes (Crane, TX), observed Valley's basketball team knock off Crane by a score of 56-46.

The Patriots (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Garden City (Garden City, TX). The Bearkats come into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Garden City was dropped by Big Spring (Big Spring, TX), 55-47, in a non-league match.

The Cranes now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westbrook for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. Crane will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 59-47 non-league win over Balmorhea (Balmorhea, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.
