December 13, 2024: Mill City, OR 97360 Knappa Loggers (Astoria, OR) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Santiam Wolverines (Mill City, OR), 63-62 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Knappa upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Loggers travel to North Clackamas Christian (Oregon City, OR) to face the Saints in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 18. The Saints enter the match with a record of 3-2. North Clackamas Christian won 51-22 in their recent non-league match against Powers (Powers, OR)
The Wolverines now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennedy for a 2A Tri-River match on Monday, December 16. Santiam will face a Trojans squad coming off a 47-41 league win over Gervais (Gervais, OR). The Trojans record now stands at 1-4.
