In Friday's non-league test, the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) basketball squad got by the host Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV), by a score of 61-57.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 14. South Tahoe will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Vaqueros come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 60-44 non-league loss to Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV).

The Buckaroos (1-3) will now prepare for their test against North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, North Valleys held off Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA), 58-17, in a non-league test.
