California High School Basketball - Maranatha Christian holds off Ramona

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Maranatha Christian Eagles basketball team scored a close 56-49 triumph over the Ramona Bulldogs.

The Eagles (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Foothills Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Foothills Christian nipped Calexico (Calexico, CA), 58-45, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Del Lago Academy Firebirds (Escondido, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. Ramona will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Firebirds go into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 76-40 non-league loss to Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA).
