The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mingo Central Miners (Matewan, WV) and the visiting Tolsia Rebels (Fort Gay, WV), observed Mingo Central's basketball team edge Tolsia by a score of 62-60.

The Miners (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Logan (Logan, WV). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Logan edged Teays Valley Christian (Scott Depot, WV), 78-50, in a non-league challenge.
