In Friday's non-league contest, the host Wren Hurricanes basketball team scored a close 85-78 triumph over the Nation Ford Falcons .

The Hurricanes (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Myers Park was tipped by Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC), 59-56, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Nation Ford will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record.
