The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Boyd Christian Broncos (McMinnville, TN) and the visiting Marion County Warriors (Jasper, TN), observed Boyd Christian's basketball team edge Marion County by a score of 45-44.

The Broncos (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin Christian Academy (Franklin, TN). The Falcons come into the Tennessee State Independent challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Franklin Christian Academy edged Zion Christian Academy (Columbia, TN), 49-12, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Van Buren County Eagles (Spencer, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Marion County will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 70-40 non-league win over Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN).
