The Mooresville Blue Devils basketball squad (Mooresville, NC), was nudged 51-44 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC)

With the victory, Cox Mill advances its record to 3-4 on the year. The Chargers host Lancaster (Lancaster, SC) to meet the Bruins in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 14. The Bruins enter the battle with a record of 4-3. Lancaster lost 48-43 in their recent non-league battle against Keenan (Columbia, SC)

The Blue Devils now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hickory Ridge for a 4A Greater Metro battle on Friday, December 20. Mooresville will meet a Ragin' Bulls squad coming off a 58-24 non-league loss to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC). The Ragin' Bulls record now stands at 6-2.
