The Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) basketball edged the host Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV), 31-24 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Railroaders now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Churchill County for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14. Sparks will play a Greenwave team coming off a 55-45 non-league loss to Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV). The Greenwave record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Dayton falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Dust devils travel to Hug (Reno, NV) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Hug lost 53-44 in their recent non-league bout against Sparks (Sparks, NV)
