In Friday's league test, the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN), by a score of 53-39.

Next, the Indians encounter the Crown Point Bulldogs (Crown Point, IN) in a Duneland test, on Friday, December 20. Lake Central will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record.

The Wolves (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Merrillville (Merrillville, IN). The Pirates come into the Duneland test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Merrillville beat Penn (Mishawaka, IN), 47-43, in a non-league test.
