Colorado High School Basketball - Lamar nips Severance

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Lamar Thunder basketball team scored a close 39-36 win over the Severance Silver Knights.

The Thunder (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sterling (Sterling, CO). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Sterling edged The Academy (Westminster, CO), 57-33, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Silver Knights battle the Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) in a 5A/4A Longs Peak contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Severance will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 5-0 record after their 65-44 non-league win over Colorado Academy (Denver, CO).
