Kentucky High School Basketball - Whitley County fells Madison Southern
December 13, 2024: Williamsburg, KY 40769 The Whitley County Colonels basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Madison Southern Eagles to 31 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Friday.
The Colonels now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host McCreary Central for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Whitley County will battle a Raiders team coming off a 56-49 non-league loss to Garrard County (Lancaster, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 1-3.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY) in a District 44 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Madison Southern will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 5-0 record after their 56-36 non-league win over Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY).
