South Carolina High School Basketball - Gilbert knocked off by Mid-Carolina

The Mid-Carolina Rebels basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Gilbert Indians to 47 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Rebels now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Broome for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Mid-Carolina will battle a Centurions team coming off a 53-49 non-league loss to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, SC). The Centurions record now stands at 2-5.

The Indians (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Fox Creek (North Augusta, SC). The Predators enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Fox Creek ran past Horse Creek Academy (Aiken, SC), 67-53, in a non-league contest.
