The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX) and the visiting Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX), observed Midland Legacy's basketball team edge Americas by a score of 50-47.

The Rebels (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Cooper (Abilene, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 5-9 record.

In their next game, the Trail Blazers encounter the Bel Air Highlanders (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge, on Friday, December 20. Americas will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record.
