December 14, 2024: Knoxville, TN 37919 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bearden Bulldogs (Knoxville, TN) and the visiting Austin-East Roadrunners (Knoxville, TN), observed Bearden's basketball team knock off Austin-East by a score of 66-56.
The Bulldogs (11-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West (Knoxville, TN). The Rebels come into the 4A District 4 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, West prevailed over Fulton (Knoxville, TN), 61-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Roadrunners encounter the Morristown-Hamblen West Trojans (Morristown, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Austin-East will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 59-51 league win over Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN).
