Illinois High School Basketball - Greenville knocks off Altamont
December 14, 2024: Greenville, IL 62246 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Greenville Comets basketball team scored a good 57-47 win over the Altamont Indians.
The Comets (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Staunton (Staunton, IL). The Bulldogs come into the South Central contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Staunton defeated Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL), 49-42, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Indians battle the North Clay/Clay City (Louisville, IL) in a National Trail contest, on Monday, December 16. Altamont will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The come into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 41-39 league win over Dieterich (Dieterich, IL).
