The Foothill Cougars basketball squad (Palo Cedro, CA), was nudged 60-54 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA)

With the victory, Placer advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Hillmen travel to Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA) to meet the Knights in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 17. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 7-1. Rio Linda won 57-34 in their recent non-league battle against Center (Antelope, CA)
