California High School Basketball - Grossmont knocks off University City

December 14, 2024: El Cajon, CA 92021

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) and the visiting University City Centurions (San Diego, CA), observed Grossmont's basketball squad achieve victory over University City by a score of 62-52.

Next, the Foothillers encounter the Rancho Bernardo Broncos (San Diego, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, December 19. Grossmont will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record.

The Centurions (3-5) will now prepare for their test against La Jolla (La Jolla, CA). The Vikings come into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, La Jolla beat Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA), 63-41, in a non-league test.
