In Saturday's non-league test, the Taylor Ducks (Taylor, TX) basketball squad knocked off the host Mexia Black Cats (Mexia, TX), by a score of 35-23.

Next, the Ducks encounter the Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 17. Taylor will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Broncos come into the test with a 6-12 record after their 44-33 non-league loss to Madisonville (Madisonville, TX).
