South Carolina High School Basketball - Airport bested by River Bluff
December 14, 2024: West Columbia, SC 29170 River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC), 30-14 in a non-league match.
With the victory, River Bluff advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Gators travel to North Augusta (North Augusta, SC) to meet the Yellow Jackets in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Yellow Jackets enter the match with a record of 3-2. North Augusta lost 37-17 in their recent non-league match against Cross Creek (Augusta, GA)
The Eagles now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Aiken for a non-league match on Monday, December 16. Airport will meet a Thoroughbreds squad coming off a 42-8 non-league win over Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC). The Thoroughbreds record now stands at 4-0.
