Texas High School Basketball - Lamar knocked off by Washington

December 15, 2022: Houston, TX 77018

The Washington Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Lamar Texans to 52 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Furr for a 4A Region III District 21 contest on Monday, December 19. Washington will meet a Brahmans team coming off a 69-54 non-league loss to Clear Falls (League City, TX). The Brahmans record now stands at 7-1.

The Texans (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Houston, TX). The Marlins enter the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Madison was outscored by Bellaire (Bellaire, TX), 96-54, in a non-league contest.
