The Coronado Thunderbirds basketball team (El Paso, TX), dropped 50-39 in Friday's league battle with the host Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX)

The Trail Blazers now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkland for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. Americas will battle a Matadors team coming off a 85-30 non-league loss to Chapin (El Paso, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 6-9.
