The The Master's Academy Lions basketball team (Forest City, NC), was nudged 35-30 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Challenger Firebirds (Hickory, NC)

The Firebirds now possess a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinnacle Classical Academy for a Western Piedmont battle on Wednesday, January 10.

The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC). The Raptors come into the non-league battle with a 8-0 record.
