Texas High School Basketball - Hico nudges Iredell
December 15, 2023: Hico, TX 76457 Hico Tigers (Hico, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Iredell Dragons (Iredell, TX), 38-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hico upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Tigers host Ranger (Ranger, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 2A Region II District 11 bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Dragons clash with the Morgan Eagles (Morgan, TX) in a 1A Region III District 20 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Iredell will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 11-1 record after their 63-43 non-league win over Strawn (Strawn, TX).
