Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV) and the host Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV), saw Wheeling Park's basketball squad hold off Huntington by a tally of 66-61.

With the victory, Wheeling Park improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV) to battle the Indians in a non-league contest on Saturday, December 23. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 2-0.

The Highlanders (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Fighting Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record.
