December 15, 2023: Houston, TX 77020 The Wheatley Wildcats (Houston, TX) basketball felled the visiting Kashmere Fighting Rams (Houston, TX), 70-50 in Friday's league test.
The Wildcats (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men (Houston, TX). The Knights go into the 4A Region III District 21 test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men was beaten by Washington (Houston, TX), 72-60, in a league test.
The Fighting Rams now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Yates for a 4A Region III District 21 test on Tuesday, December 19. Kashmere will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 85-26 league win over Scarborough (Houston, TX). The Lions record now stands at 7-5.
