Georgia High School Basketball - Lakeview Academy tops Oglethorpe County
December 15, 2023: Gainesville, GA 30501 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA) and the visiting Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA), saw Lakeview Academy's basketball squad knock off Oglethorpe County by a count of 72-57.
With the victory, Lakeview Academy upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Banks County (Homer, GA) to play the Leopards in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Banks County won 71-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Commerce (Commerce, GA)
Next up, the Patriots play the George Walton Academy Bulldogs (Monroe, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Oglethorpe County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 48-38 non-league win over Stratford Academy (Macon, GA).
