Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX) and the host Poth Pirates (Poth, TX), saw Southwest's basketball squad hold off Poth by a tally of 69-63.

With the victory, Southwest improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Dragons host Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Pleasanton won 71-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Hondo (Hondo, TX)
