The Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans basketball team scored 89 points and held the visiting Spirit HomeSchool Warhawks to 50 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Veritas Collegiate Academy will meet a Panthers team coming off a 78-39 non-league win over Columbia (Columbia, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-0.

The Warhawks (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfax HomeSchool (Fairfax, VA). The Hawks enter the Virginia HomeSchool contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Fairfax HomeSchool triumphed over Chelsea Academy (Front Royal, VA), 77-42, in a non-league contest.
