In Friday's non-league outing, the Baptist Hill Bobcats (Hollywood, SC) basketball squad beat the visiting North Charleston Cougars (North Charleston, SC), by a count of 47-33.

The Bobcats (2-5) will now prepare for their outing against Charleston Math & Science (Charleston, SC). The Riptide go into the A Region 8 outing with a 0-10 record.
