Nevada High School Basketball - Owyhee overwhelms Mineral County

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Owyhee Braves (Owyhee, NV) and the host Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV), saw Owyhee's basketball squad wallop Mineral County by a tally of 65-19.

With the victory, Owyhee improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Smith Valley (Smith, NV) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-7.

Next up, the Serpents confront the Eureka Vandals (Eureka, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Mineral County will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Vandals come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 46-10 non-league win over Smith Valley (Smith, NV).
