Maryland High School Basketball - Leonardtown ripped by Chopticon

December 15, 2023: Leonardtown, MD 20650

The Chopticon Braves basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Leonardtown Raiders to 35 in the Braves non-league triumph on Friday.

The Braves now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Howard for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Chopticon will battle a Lions team coming off a 51-39 non-league loss to Atholton (Columbia, MD). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.

The Raiders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Patuxent triumphed over Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD), 36-31, in a non-league contest.
