In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Brewer Bears basketball team scored a decisive 63-37 triumph over the Weatherford Kangaroos.

In their next game, the Bears meet the Northwest Texans (Justin, TX) in a 5A Region I District 5 match, on Tuesday, December 20. Brewer will attempt to better on its 14-2 season record. The Texans enter the match with a 9-8 record after their 64-40 non-league loss to Midway (Waco, TX).

With the defeat, Weatherford moves to 6-8 on the year. The Kangaroos travel to Crowley (Crowley, TX) to meet the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 3 match on Tuesday, December 20.
